Pastor Keith serves Christ in Keystone Church as the preaching pastor and in a few other ways.  He’s had a ringside seat to God’s work in and through Keystone having been around since the start of the church in 1993.

His best friend Betty married him in 1972. They have 3 adult children-Chalon, Travis, and Cameron and grandchildren.  Keith rides bicycle, hunts whitetail deer, does home projects, writes, and reads. Favorite authors include John Piper, A.W. Tozer, John Grisham and Frederick Forsyth.  His favorite gun is his .270 Remington 760 Gamemaster.  His musical tastes run from Christ-centered praise songs, to baroque, to some southern gospel, to a cappella music.

Continuing an unapologetic love affair with the church, his passion is to see people who have come to genuine faith in Christ, mature in and through the local church.

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”  -- A.W. Tozer

Charlie Walter - Executive Pastor

Charlie Walter

Executive Pastor

cwalter@keystonechurch.org

No one would have thought of Charlie as being in ministry work, much less calling him “Pastor Charlie.”  His undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering; his work experience was in owning and managing a lumber business (Walter and Jackson); and he used to hate to read.  But God used the passion Charlie had in leading youth ministry to draw him into service for the Kingdom.  In 2001, God called him out of the business world and he began attending seminary. Later that year Keystone hired him as Pastor of Discipleship, and he completed his Master of Arts in Ministry 6 years later.

Through many changes, he is now Executive Pastor.  His main duties are: personal ministry (shepherding the body, counseling, and hospital visitation), leadership of the small group ministry, oversight of all the staff except the senior pastor, and most of the administrative work of the church.

He married Liz in 1982, and they have 2 married children, Jeremy and Jenna, and grandchildren. Charlie’s somewhat of a thrill seeker, and enjoys whitewater kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, snorkeling, and tennis.  But he’s quick to say that skiing down a chute or even kayaking through a class 3 rapid, both pale in comparison to seeing a person surrender his life to Christ.

Andy Sparks - Pastor of Christian Growth and Service

Andy oversees the Children’s Ministry, Adult Sunday School program, and the Assimilation effort at Keystone.  He has a passion for spiritual leadership and is also involved with various leadership projects at the church.  He started as the part-time Director of Children’s Ministries in 2003 and then as full-time Pastor in 2005.  He finished his Master of Arts degree from Lancaster Bible College in 2006.  Prior to working in ministry, Andy worked as a mechanical engineer for 11 years with two different companies in the area.  He also worked as college campus minister for 2 years directly following his graduation from the University of Delaware in 1988.  Andy married his wife Lori in 1989 and they have 4 soccer playing boys Jon, Dan, Ben and Joe.  In his spare time he enjoys Penn State football, Duke basketball, golfing, and fishing (although he’s never caught anything over 6 inches long.)

Brandon Fisher - Youth Pastor

Brandon Fisher

Youth Pastor

Brandon’s exposure to Keystone Church began 1999 after being invited by a friend to attend Keystone’s Senior High Ski Retreat.  Following the ski retreat, Brandon became an active member of the youth ministry before attending Messiah College to play soccer and earn a degree in chemistry.  Immediately after college, he taught high school chemistry at Owen J. Roberts School District for two years.  In 2006, Brandon joined Keystone’s Staff as Youth Pastor, overseeing Junior High, Senior High, and Young Adult Ministries.  Outside of ministry, Brandon is working to complete his MDiv at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.  Some of Brandon’s spiritual heroes and influences include:  John Piper, Matt Chandler, Tim Keller, Mark Driscoll, John Calvin, CS Lewis, and Jonathan Edwards.
