Psalms and the Theater of Life

Are you depressed, discouraged or just disappointed with life? Or are you optimistic, upbeat, and wish some people would “just get over it”? Are you a euphoric worshiper—or must you grab yourself by the scruff of the neck and discipline yourself to muster any enthusiasm to make much of your God? Have you been disappointed with God? Have you wondered where He was in your time of need?

Welcome to the Theater of Life that Psalms’ writers not only write about, but live. They rarely pull punches with God, themselves or others. Nor do they pretend things are better than they really are. Walk beside them and discover the hope they found, to offer yourself, other believers, and those still without faith.
