There are many different seasons in our lives here on this earth. Some are full of joy; others are full of sorrow. Some are marked by peace; others are marked by turbulence. Some of abounding in good; others seem to lack good. Part of what the Psalms teach us is that there are good reasons to praise God in the midst of every season we may go through in this life. We see this especially in Psalm 103 which is full of reasons for us to praise God no matter what may be happening in our lives. As we remember who God is and all He has done, we discover that our reasons for praising Him don’t disappear when our circumstances change.
