Life Changing Prayer
Believing prayer should be mainly “Life-Fixing,” some Christians complain when it doesn’t—and maybe even stop praying altogether. But just as with the Word and with God’s people, God means to change each of His children through prayer too. Is prayer changing your life? Do you think God’s listening? Do you expect anything when you pray? This video curriculum with Pastor Jim Cymbala of the Brooklyn Tabernacle grew in the soil of a church known—not only for its famous choir, but its equally famous life of prayer.

Helping People Change
In this course we’ll look at some of the situations in our lives that cause stress, and how we react to them. We can learn a lot about ourselves by watching how we react to stressful situations, which leads us to identify various heart issues that God may want us to work on. From there we’ll learn how to address our heart issues by applying the truth of God’s Word – the Gospel. By doing this with ourselves we’ll learn how to use it in the lives of others. This is Biblical Counseling.
